Teulada-Moraira is two towns in one: the historic centre of Teulada inland — where parking is easy — and Moraira on the coast, where everything happens within a kilometre and the blue zone sets the pace. The good news: a free 21,700 m² car park five minutes from the centre solves almost any visit… except on Friday mornings, when it turns into the street market.
Moraira has an enormous car park five minutes from the centre, and that solves nearly everything. Watch out on Fridays: half of it turns into the market.
The mother of all Moraira car parks: around 21,700 m² five minutes from the centre. On Fridays, until mid-afternoon, half of it is the market, so on that day count on half the space.
Around 9,900 m² at the start of the promenade, next to the castle and l’Ampolla beach. The best placed for a beach day in the centre.
Around 5,300 m² next to the old centre of Teulada, which is five kilometres from Moraira. This is the village up the hill: a different outing and a different car park.
Paid parking here means two very different things: a car park in the centre, and the Portet one, which serves the fashionable cove.
A paying site right next to the big free one, according to the community map. With all that free space alongside, it only makes sense if you arrive at peak time in August.
140 spaces right by El Portet cove, with cameras, toilets and a tourist office. Around €15 a day from 15 June to 15 September and around €10 the rest of the year. In August it fills up early: it’s the small pretty cove, and everyone wants the same thing.
The regulated zone (in force since 2023) covers central Moraira — Doctor Calatayud, Madrid, la Paz, paseo del Senillar, avenida del Portet and the roads to Calpe and Teulada — and the heart of Teulada (Mediterráneo, Mestre Mulet, plaza de la Constitución). What almost nobody knows: the hours change three times a year.

Sundays and public holidays, free. Tariffs: first hour €0.85 (registered residents: €0.40); maximum 2 hours — 3 for residents and double that with a disabled parking card. Residents register at Edificio Tot Llum, 3rd floor. One curiosity from 2026: the council suspended charging during the July fiestas.

Moraira’s most photogenic cove has a single car park right by the beach: the Parking Portet — 140 spaces with cameras, toilets and a tourist office, at €15/day in high season (15 June to 15 September) and €10 the rest of the year. In August it’s full by mid-morning. The plan for those who’d rather not pay: park in the big Moraira car park and take the 20-minute coastal walk — the views alone are worth the trip.
Every Friday from 8:30 to 13:30, more than 150 stalls take over la mitad de la gran explanada on the Calpe road (closed to traffic from 5:00 to 17:00). If you’re coming to the market, arrive before 10:00 and use the other half or l’Ampolla; if you’re not coming to the market… just avoid Friday morning.
Under 2 hours: the blue zone in the centre (€0.85 for the first hour). Longer than that: l’Ampolla or the big car park, and you’re there on foot in 5 minutes.
Its own free car park next to the castle. In August, if it’s full, the big one is 400 metres away.
Parking Portet if you don’t mind paying; the big car park plus the coastal walk if you do. Same for the Cap d’Or walk (up to the tower): the path starts at El Portet.
The car park by the old centre, then walk. Teulada’s blue zone is small and meant for quick shopping trips — for longer visits, use the car park.
